October is awards month for Palazzo Versace as it secures coveted awards from three prestigious awards competitions

QUEENSLAND, 29 OCTOBER 2010 –Palazzo Versace is delighted to add five prominent awards to its overflowing list of accolades. The elegant hotel has won 2010’s Best Luxury Hotel at the World Luxury Hotel Awards as well as receiving both the Outstanding Service and Outstanding Luxury awards in HotelClub.com’s 2010 reader awards. The luxury hotel has also won Australasia’s Leading Hotel and Australasia’s Leading Spa Resort at the exclusive World Travel Awards.

Recognition from such prestigious organisations is an honour for Palazzo Versace. The World Travel Awards and the World Luxury Hotel Awards celebrate the pinnacle of achievement for hoteliers, and are voted by industry colleagues. The awards truly reflect the uncompromising standards of Palazzo Versace.

The HotelClub.com awards, based on public nominations, identify the people’s choice for the highest quality hotels, the type of recognition of which there can be no better. These awards highlight the fabulous working relationship the hotel has with its online partners such as hotelclub.com, and is delighted that its consumers have chosen them for such a coveted award.

Palazzo Versace’s General Manager, Russell Durnell said the awards are testament to the hotel’s staff, “Palazzo Versace epitomizes the luxury hotel experience and we pride ourselves on the excellent service we provide all of our guests. We are honored to have been recognized in these ways.”

The awards are deserving acknowledgement for Palazzo Versace, which is celebrating its 10th year in 2010 as the world’s first only fully fashion-branded hotel.
